On April 23, the traditional event “Library Night” was held at the “Parasat” Information and Education Center to celebrate National Book Day. The university’s Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Affairs, Akyltbek Uzakbaiuly, noted that April 23 was officially designated as National Book Day by the President of Kazakhstan during the National Kurultai held in Atyrau. As part of the event, special literary meetings took place. Guests enjoyed a conversation with Munaydar Balmolda, poet, writer, and member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan. There was also a presentation of poet Nurlan Sadyr’s book “Kazakh’s Amanzhol”. The evening also featured intellectual games, book exhibitions, book exchanges (bookcrossing), and craft masterclasses led by local artisans. The event became a true celebration of books and literature, inspiring young people to read and explore the world of words.
