An analytical hour dedicated to Mirzhakyp Dulatov’s novel “Baqytsyz Zhamal” was held at Zhangir Khan University as part of the national project “100 Books”.
The literary evening was dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Alash activist, poet, and writer M. Dulatov.
Students learned about the creation of the first novel in Kazakh literature and the author’s life, viewed excerpts from a play, and compared and analyzed the book and the play.
At the end of the evening, the young people shared their opinions and answered questions.
The novel “Bakitsyz Zhamal” was among the works selected based on the results of the national “100 Books” study.
The event was organized jointly with the Parasat information, educational and language centers.
